Drawing for Youth - Spring III

AGES: 9 - 17
In this class, we will use portraits to explore drawing. We will look at issues like line, line quality, shape, tone/form, and the basic anatomy and features involved in creating portraits, both from the imagination and observation.
Supplies needed:
* Graphite Drawing Pencils - 2B / HB / 2H - plus one (1) hand-held pencil sharpener
* 8” x 11” sketch pad
* One (1) each - grey kneaded eraser & white rubber eraser
When: Thursdays, 4:30 - 6 pm

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Scholarship opportunities are available to give residents of all ages the opportunity to participate in programs at the Oxford Community Arts Center. Under the program, up to 50% matching scholarships are available through a generous grant from the Kiwanis Club of Oxford.
