Introduction to Sewing Clothes
Students should have prior knowledge of how to use a sewing machine. Welcome to the world of making your own clothes! We’ll start simple, learning how to sew with elastic and how to finish and hem our edges for professional looking work. Students will end with a project of their choice, either pajama pants or a gathered skirt. Students will need to provide the fabric of their choice for the final project (not needed for the first class, instructor can give guidance on where/what to buy).
Materials fee for replenishment of studio materials (thread, needles, interfacing, etc.): $10.
