AGES: Youth, 9-17

Handmade stuffed animals have such delightful personalities. In this sewing class, use the patterns provided, and maybe even design your own critter to enliven your home. These will be simple, pillow-like creatures but made to order by you! 

We will use a combination of hand and machine sewing. Students should expect to complete 2-3 finished projects during the week. All materials will be provided from our studio stash, but students are welcome to supplement with favorite fabrics from home. 

This is a beginner-friendly class. Prior knowledge of using a sewing machine is a bonus but not required.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Scholarship opportunities are available to give residents of all ages the opportunity to participate in programs at the Oxford Community Arts Center. Under the program, up to 50% matching scholarships are available through a generous grant from the Kiwanis Club of Oxford.
