9-WEEK COURSE

For students who have completed Basic Drawing or have previous experience.

Learn more about Drawing from Observation, focusing on Shading for Form, Composition, and Portraiture. Concepts include form, organizational space, and methods of drawing portraits from live observation and the imagination.

Supply List: an 8x11 sketchbook, plastic eraser, sharpener, a pencil or “set” of pencils. Supplies not included.

No class during Break Week, June 30 - July 5.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Scholarship opportunities are available to give residents of all ages the opportunity to participate in programs at the Oxford Community Arts Center. Under the program, up to 50% matching scholarships are available through a generous grant from the Kiwanis Club of Oxford.
