Art Sparks - Art! Spring III

Age: 6 - 12
A spark is the most valuable moment of a child’s creative experience. When children create art in our classroom, they will constantly ignite “sparks” or ideas. As the sparks develop, your child will:
- Solve problems creatively
- Learn to value cultural diversity
- Gain confidence
- Develop motor skills and coordination
- Improve observation skills
- Foster imagination and creativity
Our homeschooling art class is an opportunity for your child to learn a variety of techniques in art and explore imagination! Our class is designed specifically to introduce your child to a broad range of art forms ,including but not limited to painting, drawing, sculpture, clay and more! Each session we will explore different techniques in art and brainstorm ideas to come up with unique projects that each student would be proud of. Please note that art history and appreciation may be taught during some programs, but is not the primary focus of this program.
When: Thursdays, 1:30-3 p.m.
Location: Art Education Room
