AGES: Adults 16+

UP your sewing game by learning different kinds of seams, pleats, edge finishes, and zipper techniques. These skills apply to the making of garments, accessories, or home decor. Each student will finish the course by designing and creating a decorative throw pillow (or two!) using a variety of techniques that we’ve practiced in class. Students should plan to provide fabric and notions of their choice for the final project. All other materials will be provided. Students are welcome to bring their sewing machine or use one provided by the studio.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Scholarship opportunities are available to give residents of all ages the opportunity to participate in programs at the Oxford Community Arts Center. Under the program, up to 50% matching scholarships are available through a generous grant from the Kiwanis Club of Oxford.
