Beginning Machine Sewing for Adults - Spring I
AGES: 18+
Learn (or re-learn) how to use a sewing machine! Enjoy a guided experience teaching you the basics of machine sewing. We’ll talk about tools and tricks, feet and finishes, all while making simple projects each week to practice your skills. The class will culminate with a final project of a lined tote bag.
Students should plan to bring fabric of their choice for the final project. All other materials will be provided. Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machine or use one provided by the studio.
When: Tuesdays, 1:00 - 2:30 pm

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Scholarship opportunities are available to give residents of all ages the opportunity to participate in programs at the Oxford Community Arts Center. Under the program, up to 50% matching scholarships are available through a generous grant from the Kiwanis Club of Oxford.
