AGES: 6-13

Kids celebrate the garden’s bounty using printing and rubbing techniques with teaching artist Mary Dudley of the Civic Garden Center in Cincinnati. Participants slice and ink selected vegetables to create colorful prints on paper, then experiment with leaf and seed pod rubbings to capture fine textures while discussing which parts of plants we eat, what gets saved as seed, and how harvesting connects to gratitude and sharing.

Culture Crops Activity: Simple “harvest wall” where kids post drawings or words about something they are thankful for in the garden.
